Perspective of International ACT
By David Souther
While the ultimate goal of ACT is huge (250 million people sharing the gospel), the main idea is simple. Each believer trains in the one gospel, prays for one person, and shares Christ with that person on one day as the Holy Spirit leads. These action steps are so simple that any believer, anywhere, from any culture can put them into practice.
Because 95% of the world’s population lives outside of the United States, the involvement of the international church is a crucial component in the ACT movement. The good news of Jesus Christ is moving throughout the world at an astonishing rate. Estimated by Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary’s World Christian Trends database here is a chart of the spread of the gospel throughout the regions of the world:

These “believers” are professing Christians, and many of them have been presented a variety of interpretations of the gospel. EvanTell’s commitment is to ensure that the gospel presented as part of the ACT movement is doctrinally sound and clear and simple. EvanTell has 15 evangelism training and distribution hubs around the world already training believers and sharing the gospel. Each is poised to participate in a worldwide movement of the Good News — they are ready to ACT!
