We recently started a “Back to School Prayer Challenge” using the acronym S.C.H.O.O.L. Today, let’s look at the letter “C”— confidence.
Begin by reading the following passage:
“Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word, by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus. And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness” (Acts 4:29–31).
Continue by praying for students/teachers to be bold in sharing the gospel:
- Pray for them to have confidence in God’s message knowing that this good news is the power of God unto salvation (Rom. 1:16).
- Pray for them to boldly speak the message of the gospel and not be silent.
- Pray for them to share their faith even when nervous or afraid.
Conclude with any other related requests that come to mind.
