We recently started a “Back to School Prayer Challenge” using the acronym S.C.H.O.O.L. Today, let’s look at the letter “L”— love.
Begin by reading the following passage:
“Now may our God and Father Himself, and our Lord Jesus Christ, direct our way to you. And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love to one another and to all, just as we do to you, so that He may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints” (1 Thess. 3:11–13).
Continue by praying for students/teachers to be vessels of love to all:
- Pray for them to have an increased love for those around them.
- Pray for them to love people who mistreat them.
- Pray for them to find tangible ways to show love.
Conclude with any other related requests that come to mind.
