Over 5 years ago, my life was forever changed when I visited Nairobi and saw first-hand the needs of widows and orphans in Africa. I founded New Beginnings International to care for orphaned children in the slums of Kenya, Nigeria and South Africa and the caregivers who generously give their love so that this generation is not lost. We provide the resources and opportunities necessary for securing a stable future for the children and their care givers, but want to ensure that the foundation of that care meets the spiritual needs of these precious souls.
So we partner with EvanTell to ensure everyone on our team is ready to share the gospel. We use the soccer balls with the gospel presentation printed right on them, as well as tracts and storybooks. The love that overflows from us as we minister to them ensures that they hear, see and feel the gospel.
I also use the GoodNews Wristbands where ever I go. Time after time, I'm stopped and asked what does the wristband represent. I get excited because this is another opportunity to share the gospel of Jesus Christ! Then, I usually give it away if the person is willing to share that same message of Jesus with whoever they meet. It's a phenomenal tool to share the gospel clearly and simply with the lost and even with other believers.
As Associate Pastor at North Dallas Community Bible Fellowship, I've seen first-hand how a church can be transformed by embracing evangelism as focus for its purpose and reason for existing. EvanTell has helped NDCBF become passionate about reaching the lost in our community. Our outreach teams go through You Can Tell It! evangelism training that's given by our certified YCTI! instructors and as a result we are a church that is ready to share the gospel any time, any place and with any one.
