Guest speaker, Emily Foreman spoke and encouraged us to use hospitality to reach people with the good news of Jesus Christ.

Read Emily Foreman's Bio:

Emily Foreman is a longtime ministry worker whose passion is to see “the captives set free.” She and her late husband and four children served for seven years in a Muslim country in North Africa doing relief and development work. Even after the death of her husband at the hands of al-Qaeda extremists, she is compelled by God’s love for Muslims. Inspired by her late husband’s willing sacrifice, she and her family continue to work in North Africa and strive to mobilize Christians across North America to see the Muslim world through a lens of faith.

Emily is the author of the book, We Died Before We Came Here, a true story of sacrifice and hope. Using a pseudonym to protect the work and believers in North Africa, the book is a memoir about faith and fear and a family that chooses to love in the face of fear and tragedy.

"Thank you for making the event so nice for us. All the women said they would like to come again. I'm going to watch the online training videos that you have to become better prepared to share Christ with my neighbors."
