EvanTell’s Vision: One Gospel for All Peoples
“After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number,
from every nation, tribe, people, and language, standing before the throne and before
the Lamb… crying out with a loud voice, ‘Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the
throne, and to the Lamb!’” Revelation 7:9–10
This summer people from across the globe will travel to America for the World Cup.
They will fill stadiums, unite around a shared passion, and cheer for victory.
Scripture points us to an even greater gathering ahead, a countless multitude from
every people group, united not by sport, but by Jesus Christ.
John describes a breathtaking scene: God’s redeemed people standing together before
His throne. Like a magnificent tapestry woven from countless colors, cultures, and
languages, believers from around the world will worship the Lamb who purchased their
salvation.
EvanTell believes God is actively weaving this tapestry, and He invites His people to join
Him. He calls us to share the gospel across cultures and communities, not only
overseas, but right here in the United States.
In a world fractured by race, national origin, and culture, the church must urgently renew
its commitment to multicultural outreach—both here and abroad—in light of eternity.
Here are a few reasons why:
1. Multicultural outreach reflects God’s heart.
“That your way may be known on earth, your salvation among all nations… Let the
peoples praise you, O God; let all the peoples praise you. Let the nations be glad and
sing for joy!” Psalm 67:2–4
From Genesis to Revelation, God’s desire is unmistakable: all peoples, everywhere,
praising His name.
2. Multicultural outreach mirrors the ministry of Jesus.
“A woman of Samaria came to draw water. Jesus said to her, ‘Give Me a drink.’” John
4:7
Jesus consistently reached those considered “other,” including Samaritans, Romans,
Canaanites, Greeks, and other people groups. As we seek to follow Him and become
more like Him, we are called to do the same.
3. Multicultural outreach is commanded by the Great Commission.
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations.” Matthew 28:19
“Nations” refers to people groups. That is why the gospel was proclaimed in many
languages at Pentecost (Acts 2), why Philip was sent to the Ethiopian (Acts 8), and why
Paul relentlessly carried the gospel to new regions.
Conclusion:
The future reality we see in Revelation 7:9-10 is the goal EvanTell is pursuing. It drives
everything EvanTell does. It’s why we offer resources in over 60 languages, partner with
churches worldwide, and encourage believers to expand the scope of their outreach.
We invite you to come alongside us in that pursuit. Because what will matter then, at the
end of time, should matter now.
